blog assignment 1


When companies want to use software monitoring, businesses should inform the staff about what they do and explain why. If the monitoring plan are not explain transparency, intervention into the privacy of employees, the management efficiency will decline and may the good employees will leave.

Moreover, companies need to understand about their specific areas to create appropriate cultural behavior. Thus, the management and proper supervisor bring new high efficiency. For example, in a company with the field of study or professional development of creative arts, the work of regular employees are independent, need the comfort. In that environment, the principles and monitor sclerosis can cause more harm than good.

  1. Hi! totally agree with what you have written. The employer should explain for the the workers at first before the start to use some kind of monitoring. If I didn't know my boss was checking me up i would not trust him and perhaps leave.

    I agree with you when you say that the employees has the right to know if they are being monitored. Both the employer and the employee should be on the same page.

  4. Dear Minh! After reading your blog about the article “Snooping bosses”, I absolutely agree with your opinion. The bosses should inform to their employees about the monitoring plan and explain the reason why this monitoring is necessary for both the bosses and employees. In your blog, one thing I am interested in is that the managements of each company have to understand deeply about the specificities of their own fields in order to set up the most appropriate and effective monitoring plan.

    I think you are right when you say that employees may leave the company if they are not informed on how the monitoring is done. It must be very hard to do a proper job when you don’t know if your boss is checking you up or not.

  6. Good thoughts, there should be no need to monitor you employees. I think that knowing that you are being monitored is your right. Freedom and responsibility is important and makes people work.
